“Arrived promptly and discussed my requirements. Worked very hard and did a very good job. Cleaned up well. Only small criticism was that he drained the radiators to remove them, and did not refill them, or repressurise the system. Also there were 2 minor leaks where the radiators were reconnected. Fortunately we spotted the leaks before any damage was done, and I knew how to fix the leaks and repressurise the system, otherwise this could have involved the expense of a plumber and a very good value job could have turned into a very expensive one. I would recommend Tomasz to anyone, but would like to politely point out that not everyone knows how to refill a water system, and it would have been good if he had done this before leaving.”

“Tomasz came a long way the week before to assess the job so that he could give me an accurate price. He worked very hard to complete the job in a day – removing an old ceiling, fixing plasterbaord and skimming the walls. The work is of a very high standard. He laid plastic throughout the property – even where the plastering wasn’t taking place – and cleaned up thoroughly. I have already asked him to come back in the summer to do some rendering and my mother (who is very fussy) and had stayed with him for a while when I had to go to work has taken his number for herself and to pass on to her friends. Job well done at a good price.”

“I dont know much about plastering but it looks like a good job to me and friends comments have all been positive. He did all the ceilings in my 3 bed semi in 3 days and at a reasonable price, although he did renegotiate the price a little when the job was completed as he said it was more work than he expected. On the down side, he didnt put covers down when he did downstairs but did cover up when he did upstairs (at my request). For this purpose he also seems to have used a plastic sheet of mine and a set of old curtains which I had intended to re-use but which, fortunately, werent essential! He bagged up the many bags of rubbish nicely but didnt take it away. Overall I am happy with the work and would use him again. I would recommend him, but be prepared for a mess….”

“I can’t rate Tomasz highly enough. He plastered my guest bedroom in one day – 2 coats and his work is excellent. As Tomasz was working upstairs, he covered the landing floor, the bedroom floor, and the bathroom floor in plastic sheeting. He was as quiet as a mouse and I wouldn’t have known he was there but for the fact that I invited him. The working conditions weren’t ideal as it was a boiling hot day and I couldn’t open all the windows, thus the room was very warm. Tomasz never complained, and in fact was always cheerful each time I popped my head round the door. He also covered the window in plastic sheeting and was absolutely spotless. Furthermore he also lifted some unneccessary carpet grippers for me. As a woman dealing with a tradesperson, I felt comfortable dealing with Tomasz and would certainly invite back for further work. In fact my 74 year old mother is now considering having her ceilings skimmed by Tomasz now that I have found such a clean, tidy and professional plasterer. At all times I found Tomasz to be friendly, approachable and polite. I truly don’t think anyone will be disappointed by hiring Tomasz as a plasterer.
